I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms, although uniquely decorated and not to everyone's taste, exuded character and were spacious and clean. The service was exceptional, with the staff being incredibly helpful and welcoming, even waiting up late for us due to a delayed ferry. The location was convenient for catching the ferry to England, adorned with relics from its Forge past, although some areas were a bit scruffy. The dining experience was superb, offering a generous and delicious selection, especially the fresh-made Mediterranean dishes. Overall, a charming and cozy place to stay with superb service and dining.
I stayed at a unique hotel located on the roof over the forge. The rooms were overpowering with their theme and could have been cleaner. The flatpack furniture was of poor quality, but it did make the stay unique. The service was extremely helpful and friendly with eclectic tastes in décor from around the globe. The location was convenient to catch the ferry to England, despite being on a very busy road junction. The hotel had a pool table and interesting relics from its past as a Forge, offering entertainment for the whole family. The dining included freshly made sandwiches and was excellent. Overall, the experience was memorable with minor room cleanliness and furniture issues.
